Commitment to Our Community

Our House benefit luncheon
Host a Luncheon for Our House

Each year Professional Interiors honors the staff at Our House with a lunch at the end of the year. These staff members work tirelessly all year to take care of the homeless children. They teach these preschoolers skills that will prepare them for Kindergarten. They feed them 2 healthy meals and ensure they get plenty of exercise and socialization.

Inman Park Community Parade
Supporting the Inman Park Parade

In 2008 we entered the Inman Park parade, driving an electric car generously provided by Smart Energy Stuff to demonstrate our commitment to conservation.

Our House Donations
Raised Funds to Build Addition for Our House

Since 2007, we have donated considerable time and money supporting Our House’s efforts toward helping homeless children. We helped design and raise funds for a badly needed addition to their homeless child care and career counseling facilities.  Pro- Interiors donated over 200 hours to help jumpstart the building process.  We worked with architects and sub-contractors to configure and price the entire project, consisting of a 4000 sq. ft. addition and a retrofit of the existing building. The building is now open and serving more than 75 children daily.

Recycled Materials
Recycling and Reuse

We have always demonstrated our concern with conservation by recycling materials when possible.  We transformed an old granite curb discarded by a new development project into a beautiful front step to a porch addition. In another home, an old standard beam became our next client’s living room mantel.

Elder Care Service
Donated renovation and repair for seniors’ homes

Each year Pro-Interiors helps two or three senior citizens. We donate free or very low cost services and encourage our HVAC plumbing and electrical subs to help also. Recently, we built a wheelchair ramp and rebuilt a rotting porch. We also repair loose shingles on leaking roofs, replace faucets and lights, repair or replace appliances and locks, and do maintenance like cleaning gutters. The guys get to know the people we help and enjoy the relationship.

Energy Efficiency
Minimizing our own environmental footprint

We practice sound and energy efficient building practices like high rated insulation, and tank-less water heaters.  We recycle metals, turn trimmed tree parts into mulch for the yard, and reuse existing materials where possible.

It’s important to us to give back to the community that’s supported us and given us our livelihood.

In addition to reducing the environmental impact of our work, we focus our efforts and donations on serving seniors, children and education:
